Description: STS-28 Columbia, Orbiter Vehicle (OV) 102, is left at Kennedy Space Center (KSC) Launch Complex (LC) Pad 39B by crawler transporter (foreground). Crawler transporter, operated by personnel in a control cabin above forward track, moves by technician standing on the ground. OV-102 with external tank (ET) and solid rocket boosters (SRBs) mounted atop the mobile launcher platform appears in background positioned next to fixed service structure (FSS) (rotating service structure (RSS) retracted).
