STS-35 Columbia, OV-102, rolls back to KSC VAB after hydrogen leak discover

Description: Riding a column of light, Columbia, Orbiter Vehicle (OV) 102, its external tank (ET), and solid rocket boosters (SRBs), with a pastel dawn at their back, roll back to the Kennedy Space Center's (KSC's) Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB). This unusual photograph was created by using a zoom technique that captured both actual and reflected light. OV-102, moving east to west, was on the move from KSC Launch Complex (LC) Pad 39A as the sun crested over the seashore's horizon. Following the rollback, OV-102 was demated from the ET and SRBs. OV-102 was placed in KSC's Orbiter Processing Facility (OPF) while engineers investigated the cause of a hydrogen leak that stopped the STS-35 launch countdown during tanking 05-29-90.
