STS-40 MS Bagian waits for emergency egress training to begin at JSC's MAIL
Description: STS-40 Mission Specialist (MS) James P. Bagian, seated and wearing his launch and entry suit (LES), waits for emergency egress training exercises to begin. The crew will practice egress through the side hatch of the Full Fuselage Trainer (FFT) via the crew escape system (CES) pole. The FFT is located in JSC's Mockup and Integration Laboratory (MAIL) Bldg 9A.
