STS-55 backup Payload Specialist Brummer, poolside, during JSC WETF bailout

Description: STS-55 backup German Payload Specialist Renate Brummer, wearing launch and entry suit (LES), communications carrier assembly (CCA), and parachute pack, stands on the poolside and watches ongoing activities in JSC's Weightless Environment Training Facility (WETF) Bldg 29. Brummer is participating in launch emergency egress (bailout) exercises along with other DLR representatives. STS-55 to be flown aboard Columbia, Orbiter Vehicle (OV) 102, is the second dedicated German (Deutsche) Spacelab flight and is designated D2.
